The Retail Associate is responsible for consistently providing a “GREAT” Customer Experience as well as merchandising, stock replenishment and general store maintenance in accordance with company guidelines and programs.
•Provide a “GREAT” customer experience by embracing and following the “GREAT” program and completing all training.
•Maintain store standards according to the documented store standards book.
•Understand and comply with all HR and health and safety policies and procedures that are available on the Intranet and Internet.
•Maintain a safe and healthy workplace at all times by following TSC’s health and safety program and completing all training.
•Keyholder responsibilities which include opening and closing the store as per company procedure.
•Assist in protecting company assets and ensure security of the premises by following the loss prevention programs and utilizing all tools/equipment provided.
•Coach, mentor, train, delegate and succession plan clerks through orientation sessions, feedback and communication.
•Promote TSC within the community by participating in local events and support local charities.
•Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings and weekends and possibly the occasional overnight shift.
•Other duties as assigned.
•High School Diploma an asset
•GREAT customer service skills
•Capable of working in a physical environment, lifting and moving heavy product required
•Strong computer skills (POS, MS Office, Outlook)
